A Big Change is Coming to OnPing Alarms

OnPing is changing our Alarm System Callout

What is happening?

Over the last year or so we have been looking at migrating our alarm system to a new callout service. The new callout service gives us more finegrain control over how our calls are placed. It also gives us much nicer voice calls with a more understandable voice. The end result will be a callout and text service that is more reliable and more consistent.

When is it happening?

We are planning on changing to the new call system on June 1st 2021. It will occur around 10:00 am Central Time. We will send another announcement out following the transition.

How does this affect you?

You will notice that the voice has changed on the alarms. You will still be able to press 1 to acknowledge an alarm but will not have to press anything for the alarm to start talking.

The phone number will also be different on the alarm system.

What if I have problems?

If you have problems with the new system email at support@plowtech.net or just call us. We will get you taken care of as soon as possible.

Can we choose to keep the original callout service?

Unfortunately, we will not be able to offer this. If you have questions about this please call or email support@plowtech.net we will be glad to discuss with you!
